Welcome to Huckleberry Hideaway Cabins and RV – A Peaceful Retreat in Minden, Louisiana
Nestled in the heart of Claiborne Parish, just outside of Minden and Homer, Huckleberry Hideaway offers the perfect blend of convenience and tranquility. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful getaway, a place to stay after a long day at work, or an adventure-filled vacation, our park has something for everyone!
Our park features a variety of accommodations, including full-hookup back-in and pull-through RV sites, as well as 7 primitive tent sites for those who prefer a more rustic experience. All of our sites come equipped with a fire pit and picnic table, allowing you to unwind and enjoy the great outdoors.

We also offer 2 rooms in our cozy lodge, a one-bedroom cabin, and 2 RVs for rent, providing guests with all the comforts of home.
Take advantage of our shared hot tub to relax after a day of exploring and enjoy free firewood for your campfires (while supplies last). We have a game room available with billiards, darts, and other board and card games. Our small camp store has essentials, and our lodge, cabin, and RV rentals are equipped with Wi-Fi for those who want to stay connected. For families, we have a playground, a dog park for your furry friends, scenic walking trails, and a pond to explore.
Guests can also enjoy clean and modern public restrooms with showers, along with a free laundry facility for your convenience.

Located near Lake Claiborne State Park, Caney Lake, Bistineau Lake, and the charming towns of Minden and Homer, our park is ideally situated for exploring the area. Check out local attractions like Bonnie and Clyde Trade Days, nearby casinos, antique shopping, and the historic German Town, all just a short drive away.

    We offer two lodge rooms, each with a kitchenette, attached bathroom, and smart TV for a cozy stay. Our cabin and rental RVs are one-bedroom accommodations located on the banks of our pond. Each is fully equipped with all the comforts of home. Enjoy free Wi-Fi, firewood (while supplies last), a fire pit, and a picnic table at your site. Relax with access to the playground, dog park, walking trails, and a shared hot tub in the lodge.

RV Sites

Our park offers 8 back-in sites and 1 pull-through site, each featuring 20, 30, and 50 amp electrical service, water, and sewer hookups. Nestled among the trees, every site includes a fire pit and picnic table for a cozy outdoor experience. Enjoy free firewood (while supplies last) and easy access to amenities like the bathroom facility, playground, dog park, walking trails, and a catch-and-release pond. Stay connected with Wi-Fi at the lodge and unwind with access to our game room. It’s the perfect blend of nature, comfort, and fun for all guests!
